Butterflies, Bees, and other Insects
When I originally started shooting macro, I was going to shoot butterflies and whatever else I could find. This last summer was so hot and dry, we didn't find many butterflies, so we looked for other things to shoot. I started taking photographs of bees. I photographed whatever bees I could find. Originally I found a few on different kinds of flowers, however as the summer moved on, most of the flowers dried up and most of the bees were simply on clover. As I got a few shots of the bees on flowers, I started trying to get bees in flight.
