Kauai
Our trip to Kauai, we tried to get a few sunsets and sunrises. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate with us once again. We ended up getting a few sunrise/sunset shots but spent quite a bit of time photographing the birds. Although I has seen the Albatross, Red-footed Booby and the Frigatebird before, it was great to see a couple new birds. The Red-Crested Cardinal was the most impressive. I had never seen this one before this trip. We found them at a few different locations. One had a young one, which looks very similar but has a different coloring. This gallery has lots and lots of bird photos! As we finished up on Kauai, we headed back to Maui to finish up our trip before heading back to the airport.
Wauila Falls
Although the trip down was a little difficult, the view at the bottom was definitely worth the trip. Unfortunately, due to the diffuculty of the trail, I didn't bring a tripod so I took a few shots holding my camera. A tripod probably wouldn't have helped too much because there was so much mist coming off the falls, the lens was covered in a matter of seconds.
