We drove up to Halekala Crater. Halekala Crater is at an altitude of approximately 10,000 feet. It was a beautiful clear morning with a few clouds in the just below us. As I set up my camera on the tripod, I looked through to take a shot and couldn't figure out why I couldn't seen anything. Then as I looked up, I noticed that my clear view had been totally obscurred by a cloud. I was about to give up when it cleared just as quickly. You can watch the clouds move in and out on the photo below.
