Page 1 Page 2 Page 3 Page 4 Page 5 One day, we decided to take a trip to see the Joshua Trees on the opposite side of the park. As we drove down the road, we found this Joshua tree with the perfect mountain backdrop. After shooting in this area, we headed to an area full of Joshua trees. We were lucky to find that the recent storms in the area had left snow in around the Joshua trees. We were able to line some shots up with the moon. I couldn't help taking some photographs of the patterns in the snow. It's amazing to see just how delicate it is up close. In pictures from Death Valley that I had seen before, I always remembered the cracks in the dirt. I wanted to be able to take a shot of them, so we headed out to an area that Mark thought we would be able to find the cracks. The recent storms had apparently dumped some rain on the area, but we were still able to locate a few to shoot. A great way to end the day's shooting. |
