The next morning, we headed back to Stovepipe Wells Sand Dunes for a beautiful sunrise.
After our morning on the dunes, we visited Alabama Hills. It was starting to cloud up some but we were able to snap a few shots before the sun disappeared behind the clouds.
The clouds continued to give us some interesting photography opportunities. The edge of dusk was beautiful.
The next morning, we headed back out to Alabama Hills for sunrise. It was fun to watch as the light first hit Mt Whitney and spread down the mountain and across the landscape..
As the sun spread out across the landscape, the sunrise colors quickly changed to gold against the mountains.
